I originally started making it for my now 26 year old grandson who suffered some skin problems as a baby and his doctor recommended handmade goats milk soap. I found some locally then decided I could make it myself. With the help of books and a soap forum I took the plunge and haven't looked back. I love making soap. I love the chemistry of it and the finished product helps to keep my own and my families skin soft and less itchy then with a store bought soap or other products.
